BioWare has announced that they're ready to release the next premium downloadable content for Mass Effect 2 in June, this one dubbed "Overlord."
The DLC will, according to Gamerzines, have Shepard and company battling through a laboratory to stop an enemy AI run amuck. It will be comprised of "five levels set across one story on one planet," according to BioWare's Casey Hudson, and will also apparently be less linear than past Mass Effect 2 DLC, allowing players to explore the new planet in the Hammerhead.
What Overlord won't add, though, are any new companions: BioWare has confirmed that no more new squad mates will be introduced to Mass Effect 2 in any future DLC, making Kasumi -- introduced in the last DLC bearing her name -- the final Mass Effect 2 squad mate.
